There are a variety of fundraisers this week for Democratic candidates in Franklin County. Richard Cordray, Marian Harris, Ed Leonard and Maryellen O'Shaughnessey all have fundraisers scheduled for this week.

The general election is just around the corner. These candidates need our support now.

Women for Women Canvasses this Sunday

This Sunday, the Ohio Democratic Women's Caucus is hosting a variety of canvasses for local women candidates running for Congress, State Senate and State House. Canvassing events are planned for Mary Jo Kilroy, Sharen Neuhardt, Danielle Blue, Marian Harris, Nancy Garland and Tracy Heard, all at 1 p.m.

This will be an excellent opportunity to get-out-the-vote for some excellent women candidates, and a great way to get out and enjoy the wonderful summer weather.
